Worth waiting for???help asap!!!?

theres this guy derrick hes so much diffrent than any guy iv ever met, hes kinda weird but the thing is i like that, then agin there are certain things i hate about the way he is like the fact he doesnt always write back to my text messages, he doesnt show that he likes you when he does, i know he does but hes so confusing and i wanna let go of him...yet i cant something keeps telling me there will come that day were all of this will be worth it, but i dont know if i can take this much longer there are many other guys out there waiting for me yet im waiting for him?? his friends tell me hes scared to really like or love me but the thing is im scared to...and i just dont know what should i do???should i wait for him to not be scared or just move on?????help pleasee!!!
