2TB hard drive wont work on new computer?

I just built a new computer, and with it i bought a 64gb SSD and a 2TB HDD. I unplugged the HDD before turning on the computer for the first time, so that I could have windows 7 6-bit installed on just the SSD. Now that I have finished that, turned off the computer and plugged in the 2TB SSD, it won't work. The drive is not recognized in the boot priority UEFI bios, but is recognized in other areas of the Bios, such as the advanced SATA configurations. The HDD is a Western DIgital TB Caviar Green 3gb/s. I am using an Asus p8p67 deluxe motherboard. Thank you so much for your help!
