At GCSE Is it better to have B, B & B or B &A?

I'm only talking about IT becaus I finished 3 projects and I got a B in the first project, an A in the second project and B in the third one. All together it equals 3B's but I can refuse the third project and just be left with B and A. Which is better according to universities. Quality or quantity because my othe grades are mostly B's and a few A's and A*'s
