Orchid help. I think I put my orchid in critical condition.. :(?

I also have an orchid. I am not very green fingered but at this time of year the plant needs very little water. I wait until it looks bone dry then water it, when it is ready to grow you will see the difference and know you will need to give it water more often. I have had my one three years now and have surprised myself by keeping it alive. Some people use a see through pot especially for orchids but my one is in an ordinary pot and survives just fine.
