How long should i wait to take a pregnancy test?

I am wondering how long i should wait to see if i am pregnant? I am not on Birth Control but i just had my period and it just ended on Tue. And we have had like everyday since then. I tested today but it was negative. I WANT SERIOUS ANSWERS, IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO BE DUMB THEN DON'T ANSWER MY QUESTION!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE.
