Deserting cat at neighborhood?

If I knew your parents I would call the cops - animal abandonment is not only ethically wrong, it's also a crime. You need to bring him to a no-kill shelter or find him a proper home yourself. I would not ever bring another animal in a house with people who think that dumping a cat is an appropriate way of solving a problem. Absolutely despicable
